Dr. Jalal Khademi
PhD دکترا تخصصی روانشناسی
My name is Jalal Khademi. I am a clinical psychologist with an existential approach and a PhD in Mental Health from Åbo Akademi University in Finland. For over fifteen years, I have worked alongside people navigating some of the most challenging and significant moments of their lives. From crisis intervention centers and telephone counseling services to university teaching and cross-cultural research between Iran and Finland — this journey has given me a deep, multidimensional understanding of the human experience. My approach is existential. I believe that anxiety, confusion, and a sense of emptiness are not signs of weakness — they are invitations to a deeper understanding of oneself. In our sessions, you will find a safe, non-judgmental space to explore what truly matters to you. Areas I work with include: Migration & Cultural Adaptation — navigating identity challenges, loneliness, and rebuilding life in a new country Self-Discovery & Psychosocial Growth — uncovering the values, beliefs, and patterns that shape your life Communication Skills — building healthier relationships, setting boundaries, and connecting more authentically with others Meaning, Identity & Choice — exploring the deeper questions that often get buried under the weight of daily life I work with Persian-speaking and international clients in Finland and worldwide, both in person and online. If you are at a point in life where you feel you need a knowledgeable and compassionate companion — I would be glad to walk that path with you.
