My name is Masoud Ahmadi, and I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Tehran. Psychotherapy or perhaps more accurately, psychoanalysis is much more than a profession to me; it is a way of life. I have always been deeply drawn to philosophy and literature, and psychoanalysis is where these two passions come together. Literature allows me to see the world through my clients’ eyes, while philosophy helps us navigate life’s most difficult questions and search for meaning in the face of uncertainty. After completing my graduate studies, I began my professional journey in 2018 at the Tehran Institute of Psychoanalysis. There, I studied psychoanalytic theory, developed my clinical skills, and, just as importantly, experienced psychoanalytic therapy myself. That personal experience profoundly shaped me. Experiencing the transformative power of therapy firsthand showed me that this was the path I wanted to dedicate my life to helping others discover the same possibility for growth and change. Since then, both my clinical practice and my ongoing professional development have remained lifelong commitments. Over the past eight years, I have worked with a wide range of psychological concerns, including depression, anxiety, loneliness, fear of death, relationship difficulties, immigration-related challenges, and trauma. For me, therapy is a space defined by safety, curiosity, and freedom from judgment. I do not see myself as someone who walks ahead of you or behind you, but beside you. Together, we explore the deeper layers of your inner world, develop a clearer understanding of your experiences, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
