Dr. Fatemeh Mesgarian
PhD دکترا تخصصی روانشناسی
My name is Fatemeh Mesgarian, and I am a psychologist and analytic psychotherapist. I completed my academic studies in clinical psychology up to the doctoral level. After ranking 7th in the national PhD entrance examination, I entered the PhD program in Psychology at Tarbiat Modares University and graduated in 2017 as the top-ranked student of my class. My professional path began in 2008. Alongside my academic training, I completed specialized courses in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in Iran and the United States. Over time, my main focus shifted toward analytic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis; an approach that allows for a deeper understanding of human experience, relationships, emotions, and the unconscious aspects of the mind. For nearly fifteen years, I have continued my training, personal analysis, specialized supervision, and clinical work in the field of analytic psychotherapy. During these years, I have worked with adults facing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, loneliness, low self-esteem, identity crises, migration-related challenges, and recurring patterns in their relationships. For me, therapy is a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space; a space for developing a deeper understanding of oneself, one’s emotions, relationships, and the experiences that have shaped one’s life. My aim is to help clients explore their inner world with greater freedom and calm, and move toward lasting and meaningful change.
